Staging Pride

You are cordially invited to attend Staging Pride: Definitely on Your Gaydar the final performance of Staging Pride: Queer Youth Theater Wednesday, April 17th!

Staging Pride: Queer Youth Theater is National Queer Theater's free, after-school theater program for LGBTQ+ young people in NYC. The program offers queer youth the chance to build community, become educated in the history and culture of their identity, and learn from industry professionals about the arts and performance. The program is led by the illustrious Broadway performer Kevin Smith Kirkwood and the seasoned arts educator Amy Ackerman.

Come support our amazing students who have put together a show that proudly features their queer identities, experiences, and inspirations. The show will feature original and devised works, scenes written by iconic queer playwrights, and a show stopping number from Kinky Boots!

The show runs from 7-8:30 pm at the LGBT Center (208 West 13th St, New York, NY 10011) in room 301. The show is free and open to the public.
